4 in the morning...

Yesterday, my "boss" (aka "Lil Diva") told me that she was up working on a presentation until 4 o'clock in the morning.

UMMM, er hello? What the hell have you been doing since AUGUST?

Besides "managing" me (which she does not do), this presentation has been the crux of her responsibilities since her last big assignment ended in mid-July. Why does it take 75+days to crank out a 60 page presentation (which by any assessment is FAR too long to be presenting to anyone ANYWAY).

That's like less than 1 page per day. What does she do all day???? I've got to find out. I take it on as a challenge. I think I might just ask her -- "So, what have you been working on this week?".

...a husband.

One evening, as my husband and I were sitting on the front porch, we watched our neighbor pull into their driveway. "Is she still training (working out)?" he asked me. I didn't know but answered that I would not imagine how, considering that she has a brand new baby and with her young son in baseball she would have the time. To that he retorted, "she has a husband".

Ok. And??

If GM can do it...

I'm on strike today. Just not gonna do any MORE work (did a little bit).

I just don't dammit feel like it.

I haven't had a day like this in a long time (I've been a pretty good slave) and I think that I want to relish in it. Yes, I'm on my company laptop, surfing the internet on the company's high-speed T-whatever line and I'll just be damned.

I'm very intrigued with this blog situation. I have to admit, having 2 children back to back, I lost touch with just about everything that was happening in the free world. If it wasn't child-related, I didn't know about it.

So...that is what I will do with my day -- Cruise the blog strip... see what fresh, hot blogs I can pick-up (sounded so fresh didn't it?)...

WELCOME to Anger Management 101

Well, Hello! Welcome to my Blog!

This is the first time that I've done this so you will have to be patient with me. For me, this blog is therapy (Yes, Sistahs - we need therapy too). And I hope that it will provide some solace to those of you who choose to read it.

I'm also working on a book, so this forum also helps me to get my thoughts together. I will do my best to be consistent with the posts and try to initiate robust dialouge. Sometimes I might just be venting (bear w/ a sistah)... Anyhoo, we'll get through it.

Thanks for reading (and if you felt like it -- writing back).
